1. Travel Checklist

Requirements for your pet to travel:

1. IDENTICHIP – Have an ID (identity chip or microchip) implanted and then please register your pet on the relevant data base. Make sure all details are accurate andprint out or receive a microchip certificate.
2. RABIES VACCINE – Rabies vaccine to be given the day (or more) after ID chip if thepet is not already microchipped. A rabies certificate is required by most countries.
3. OTHER ANNUAL VACCINES – All required annual vaccines should be up to dateand meet the criteria of the importing and exporting country.
4. BLOODS TAKEN – a minimum of 30 days after rabies vaccination. The pet may generally only travel 90 days after the blood has been taken, providing the correct levels on the blood titre test are reached. (Country dependant) There may be additional tests required by the destination country.
5. HEALTH CERTIFICATE (provided by us) – a state vet in the originating country must complete the health certificate within a specific number of days.
6. WORM TREATMENT (dogs only) (provided by us) – your pet must be treated against certain worms between 1 and 5 days prior to travel.
